CARRIER GUIDANCE AT SMSS

The school offers carrier guidance services to students to help them in life planning for personal fulfilment, with different emphases at different stages of the life time. At the schooling stage, life planning education aims at fostering students’ positive value, self-understanding, personal planning, goal setting and reflective ability.

 

Our ultimate goal is to see all students, irrespective of their abilities and levels of study, being able to:

• Understand their own career/academic aspirations; 

• Develop positive attitudes towards work and learning; 

• Connect/integrate their career/academic aspirations with/into whole-person development and life-long learning; and 

• Utilise the acquired knowledge, skills and attitudes whenever necessary.
